2.      BIO SUMMARY

Associated Professor has extensive research and teaching background in distributed hydrologic modelling, development of coupled hydrologic-meteorologic modeling systems for flood forecasts and prediction of the effects of climate change on watershed hydrologic processes and terrestrial ecosystem. His current studies focus on developing a fully two-way coupled hydrologic-meteorologic modeling system which in the mesoscale meteorological model WRF includes detailed hydrologic processes (interactions among unsaturated soil water, groundwater, river water and lake water) and their feedbacks to the atmosphere and is applied in the river basins in China and Germany.
